We set out to solve one problem,
and now solve Total Talent attraction

First, we made Direct Sourcing central to how companies recruit contingent workers, helping solve the problem of how to leverage employer brands in recruitment. Now, we solve the problem of complexity in recruitment, so you can engage with all candidate types through a single doorway of technology.

Our Story

When a vision to remake employee recruitment birthed a technology platform, it marked a great new beginning...

TalentNet was founded in 2013 and believed companies hiring contingent or contract workers missed an opportunity to use their brand strength to attract great talent. We set out to solve this problem, and the Direct Sourcing industry was born.

Since 2013, we have successfully implemented many  Direct Sourcing client programs. Through these programs, we have improved job candidate experience and enabled employers by reducing their reliance on third-party staffing firms and streamlining talent supply chain complexity.

After successfully introducing Direct Sourcing to the market, we realized there was a much bigger talent acquisition problem, and we knew our team could solve it.

The opportunity was to find a way to pull together disparate sources of information from different organizational departments to provide work candidates One Doorway into an organization. We also saw an opportunity to give organizations one single pane of glass into their Total Talent pool (one process and one dashboard for all full-time, contract, freelance, and internal talent).

Today, we lead the market in Direct Sourcing and have developed and matured our tools, processes, and technology to make significant improvements for the contingent workforce.

We have also launched our TalentNet Total Talent Attraction Platform (™) that pulls together talent data from disparate internal and external sources to finally offer job candidates one way into an employer’s organization.

A Canadian, woman-led success story, TalentNet was formed in Toronto, Canada, by Amber O’Reilly. Today we are proud to have a group of diverse, passionate and exceptional employees located around the world and know that together we can solve the talent attraction challenges organizations face.

We won’t stop innovating until all work seekers, regardless of work type or background, are given equal opportunity and are seen for who they are…people.
